Since it appears that a very large percentage of ‘coupe owners & flyers are veterans; I offer the following:
"Now, Therefore, I, Dwight D. Eisenhower, President of
the
United States of
America, do hereby call upon all of our citizens to observe Thursday, November
11, 1954, as Veterans Day. On that day let us solemnly remember the sacrifices
of all those who fought so valiantly, on the seas, in the air, and on foreign
shores, to preserve our heritage of freedom, and let us reconsecrate ourselves
to the task of promoting an enduring peace so that their efforts shall not have
been in vain."
Sitting at a stop sign and someone lets you go first, you mouth the words “thank you.
Someone answers a question, we say “thanks.”
Another person opens a door, “thanks”…………
All day long we tell people “thank you”, I guess that’s why it sounds so simple, even cheap and meaningless. Unfortunately, I do not know of a word in the English language that can adequately express my appreciation to those who have protected our liberties. Just believe that my, “THANK YOU” is sincere. May God bless you and may God bless America.

PS
For those of you who feel this message is out of place, thank one of the afore mentioned people for your right to speak that feeling. After that, you may bring one any criticism you want.
