Howdy, Maybe someone can help me out. My wife and I have been saying "Maybe someday if I ever have some free time that I'm not using to work on the Ercoupe or reading Ercoupe manuals or reading Ercoupe forums, or looking on eBay for Ercoupe parts, maybe we could go out and see that movie, "The World's Fastest Indian." The problem is that it seems to be showing in very limited locations. Where are you guys seeing this?

The only reason that I mention Indians here is that I had a 1946 Indian Chief which I traded for a 1951 Harley Davidson which I sold to buy parts for my 1946 Ercoupe. See, there' s a direct connection between Indians and Ercoupes, at least for me. ----- Original Message ----- From: "ght" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Howdy,

Yesterday, I was fortunate to see the film, "The
World's Fastest Indian".

If you have a fondness for Indian motorcycles, racing,
and Bonneville, I think you will like this movie. Even
if motorcycles and racing are not you cup of tea, it's
a very good and true story.

It's the story of New Zealander Burt Munro and his
dream of setting a land speed record at Bonneville
with his old Indian. He didn't have much money. Of
course, New Zealand is a loooonnnng way from Utah.
What he went through to get to Bonneville and be able
to run there is a testament to a truly indomitable
spirit.

Burt did set a record in 1967 at the age of 68. The
record he set, for that particular class of
motorcycle, has yet to be broken!

It's a wonderful movie, inspirational and satisfying.
I don't think you will be disappointed.

Oh, to top it all off, Anthony Hopkins plays Burt
Munro. He's such a good actor and I hear that New
Zealanders say he got the accent down perfectly.

Here's a link to the website about the film.

Spook
