I see that Randy Thompson in California offers overhauled motors at a reasonable price. Does anyone have experience with him - good or bad. Also interested in advice and guidance on other shops who might be recommended. My belief is that an engine from a reputable overhaul shop will be better than the local shade tree fellow doing a field overhaul.
