Just received an 1/48 Ercoupe plastic model kit, still in the box, all parts attached like it just came from the mold with a cardboard diorama of a hangar and tower. It was made in Mexico by PEGASO. Assembly instructions are Spanish, English, French and German! There is no date on anything, but the brief description on the instructions say "...is one of the leading two place sport and business man airplanes of today. Other features of this plane include a baggage compartment of 8 cu. ft. that can be converted in to a seat for a child under 75 lbs." (First time I heard that!). The picture on the box shows NC87456 finished in silver with red trim and has a split elevator design.
It was given to me by a fellow at work who bought it at a local auction. Now that's a gift!
