Guys and gals,
The ONLY way any editor can make a publication good is
through contributions. Yeah, a slick magazine can pay writers but a club
magazine just can't.
It's up to YOU to send notes, tidbits, stories,
articles and pictures to Carolyn for Coupe Capers or to Mitch (webmaster) for
ercoupe.org. Their contact information is easily available on http://ercoupe.org
When I edited Coupe Capers, I made a point of begging
for material. And the members came through.
These lists are a fast food kind of sharing. We
tend to give good mutual support. But, we don't go much into long,
thorough articles.
I'd STRONGLY encourage any of you who've learned something
to write it up in any way you can and send it in.
Mitch, the webmaster, is extremely busy at his day job
these days. But, if you send him an e-mail with a relatively complete
story, he can easily slap a page up on the website.
The same is true for Coupe Capers. If you send
it in by e-mail, Carolyn doesn't even need to retype it.
A club is a, well, a CLUB! It's got to have
members.
