 Don,

I agree! went to see it yesterday. Fantastic!
Wonderful! It took me about 3 hours after the film to
calm down and come down. Talk about putting you
right in the seat of the plane.

I have been doing a little reasearch on the making of
the film. I think knowing some of the background of
the film makes it even more interesting, at least to
 me.

The director, Tony Bill, is a pilot. I think that
makes a big difference, in the point of view and in
the desire to have the flying scenes as authentic as
possible in 2006. He was able to gather up a number
of antique planes and he also had some replicas made.

So he was able to shoot a lot of real aircraft
footage
to mix in with the computer graphics. He did an
 outstanding job.

One of the main actors, David Ellison, is also an
aerobatic pilot. Another one of the main actors,
James
Franco, got so enthusiastic about flying after
starting to work on the movie, that he went out and
 got his private.

I would recommend the film to anyone, but especially
pilots, other aviation enthusiasts, and history
buffs.

 Spook
