Creighton (6K3) is the closest. AOPA lists one motel and one local
rental car outlet. O'neill is listed with two motels and a couple of
local rental car sources. When Gretchen and I were there a few years
ago, we wussed out and opted for the big city -- Norfolk, where we
got our airplane into a hangar (hailstones being Nebraska's state
bird :), rented a car from Enterprise, and stayed overnight.

Ashfall Fossil Beds State Park, about 80 miles to the west. It's a
jewel. You'll never think of Yellowstone in quite the same way
