Corn-gratulations on your successful off-airport landing.

;)

I am now hoping that 2007 is a bit more boring, and lot less expensive than 2006.

Amen. Boring is good. And "expensive" calls to mind a Scottish word I recently ran across in the dictionary:

  Main Entry: wae·sucks
  Pronunciation: 'wA-"s&ks
  Function: interjection
Etymology: Scots wae woe (from Middle English wa) + sucks,
alteration of English sakes -- more at WOE
Scottish -- used to express pity [like "Alas!"]

:)
