"When users switch to Coherence mode, the Windows desktop disappears,
leaving Windows applications, such as Outlook and Internet Explorer, running
directly on the Mac desktop and from the Mac application dock..

"Although Coherence is center stage and the "no reboot" feature is standing
next to it, Parallels Desktop also offers a migration tool called
Transporter that the company is heralding. Transporter is designed to let
users move their entire existing PCs -- including all of its settings,
applications, files, and profiles -- directly to a Parallels virtual machine
running on their new Macs, without reinstalling Windows.

"Transporter is particularly important for users switching from Windows to
OS X because it allows them to keep the "security blanket" of their familiar
Windows PC while they learn how to leverage the power of their new Macs, the
company said. It also eliminates the hassle of having to "start from
scratch" with a new Windows installation, Parallels added, which for many
nontechnical users can be a daunting experience."

They've got me convinced. I'm just waiting for Leopard to come out..

Vista may be the last straw for a lot of people. The Mac ads on TV are
hilarious and convey a lot of truth.
