I want to thank all the people who offered assistance and fellowship to us on our trip to Texas. All weather forecasts were good, but just as we left the ground the day we were to go down to Texas, a blinding snow started up. I hurriedly got back on the ground (kind of tense, as I couldn't see much at all!) and we sat on the ramp for a while, but if anything the snow got worse. We finally decided to just go ahead and drive. We put the plane back in the hangar, got in the car and drove.
We also abbreviated the trip, and never made it to Galveston. We did have fun in San Antonio, however.
Again, thanks to the great Ercoupe community. I hope we get a chance to try this again sometime relatively soon!
