They are seeking international support to keep their historical airport open. I've long dreamed of flying my Coupe across the Atlantic (in easy stages). It'd be nice to have these airports there to visit.

I received a message where the Finnish GA pilots are asking for help to sign a petition online, that should help to stop the closing plans of a classical airport from the thirties. Maybe you can forward it to the flyin group or any other group you think that is appropriate. The story is similar like in elsewhere. There is a beautiful City airport that is threatened by to be closed to give way for developers profits. The airliners airport is close by, so the logic says close the small one.
