I have a copy of the Ercoupe review dated December
15, 1987 "Used Aircraft Guide".
Perhaps some will be able to google The magazine and
download the article.
It speaks pretty good on the Ercoupe, tho maybe a
little over on corrosion...
"for a combination of low purchase price and low
maintenance, an Ercoupe is tough to beat: ..."
"...but the Ercoupe was successfully tested in
crosswinds up to 40 mph, far beyond the capability of
any conventional aircraft. (Years later, Boeing used
Ercoupes to train its 707 test pilots. "
