Hi gang,

I'm back from Oshkosh, and just learned about Jim Brennan's mishap. Too bad. Hope things are all right with him.

We had 37 Ercoupes fly from Wausau to Oshkosh, in a long gaggle, and had a lot of compliments from the control tower folks about how beautiful our landings looked. 4 other Coupes were already on the field when we landed, and at least 4 more came in during the week, making the total Ercoupe number at least 45, which, I'm sure, is a new record for AirVenture. At the Awards Ceremony Saturday night, it was announced that the Outstanding Ercoupe Award went to Ward Marsh, Dixon, CA, 1946 Ercoupe 415-CD, NC93337.

53 Ercoupes were registered at the Ercoupe Nationals in Wausau. A few came in and didn't register. We had lots of fun activities. More on this later.
