The local news said Hudson was taking off from his private strip 
(pasture), clipped some trees after getting airborne,pitched nose down  
and crashed.  The plane came to rest inverted and his son and others 
righted the plane in an effort to get him out.
Seems like a lot of Ercoupes have been crashing from private sod strips 
lately.
