Gov. insurance and health care are two different things. Just because someone else's tax dollars are going to pay for my health care does not create competition in services or price reduction, which is needed to maintain Health Care costs. Every country that has "Socialized Medicine", has a brain drain result of Doctors leaving their profession and a history of very long waits for care and services. "for-profit, high-salary, private insurance companies", is parroted by our unions, which I am a member of. If there is no profits, there are no jobs. I wonder why people are not concerned about "high profit" taverns.
