You can scroll down a bit and find some fascinating stuff that I hadn't known before about Erco Field and the Erco Company. I had a chance to see that the plant was till standing when I was back there at the College Park Airport in 2008. Sadly, I was told that the old Erco factory, which had survived all these many years, was slated for demolition soon. I posted my pics of it here on our picture section here at Yahoo Groups.
