Now, honestly, how can you have a steam plane without a decent stream whistle?  
It just ain't right.
Shucks, this one does not even have a proper set of steel tracks to land it on, 
nor a jerk-water tank on the ground for re-plenishing.
(Grandma always said that if God had meant for people to fly, he would never 
have given us the railroads.)

Hartford, Vassar Clements, and Tony Rice, doing John's great song "Steam 
Powered Aeroplane". Hartford and Clements are no longer with us. I got the 
pleasure of knowing them both a little, and they were the nicest folks you
