We all know what hangar rash on an airplane is....well here is another kind.
On Wednesday I went to the airport and discovered that the airport snowplow had
hit my hangar door and left a sizable tear in the tin covering. The walk-in
door no longer latches but the padlock was still in tact even though the hasp
was
pretty well bent. Today I duct taped some feed sacks to the inside and duct
taped
the outer side of the rip, thoroughly. Fearing another blowing snow episode,
here
in Nebraska, might fill up the hangar. These hangars have stood for at least 50
yrs.
and I think this is the first accidental? strike. Maybe it was due.
