Don, My 'Coupe turned 60 a month or so after I got it, and I did throw a birthday party: at the airport, on the ramp in front of the pilots' lounge, with non-alcoholic champagne (airport doesn't allow alcohol), and a cake on which the local bakery had photo-transfered a pic of the plane. I invited a dozen or so friends (aviation & non-), and gave rides around the pattern to several, while the rest ate cake & took pictures.
