G'day all,
Just introducing myself, my name is Daniel Logan and am proud owner of
what seems to be Australia's oldest Ercoupe S/N 246. I didnt realise there were
so many down here, I was under the impression of only 4. My Ercoupe is located
at Tyabb in Victoria along with VH-ERC, however mine is not currently flying. I
bought it as an aeroplane pulled apart, I am in the process of putting it back
together and hopefully will have it back together by our summer. As far as I
know of the true Ercoupes only 2 of them are currently flying, they are VH-ERC
and VH-LDN. Im sorry however there arnt any in the Sydney area.
My Ercoupe is currently registered in our Ultralight category,
however this may change as it holds me to a restriction of being legally only a
single seater (all weights on paper, to keep it under 547kgs fully loaded).
Thanks for starting this thread, you had infomation I didnt, so thankyou! ALl
the best, Daniel
