Hello Wayne,
I wish you well. I know what a tough decision that had to be. I thank you for your help years ago when I took my trip around the country and for your continued help over the years. May the wind be always on your tail. My Alon went down the road yesterday, and my intentions are not to attempt to fly anymore. There is a deep and empty spot in the pit of my stomach. 50 years I committed aviation, and I must confess the last 20 in my Alon were the best. I managed to meet some very interesting and dedicated people, and to see and do things I would have considered impossible. It all wasn't rewarding, but the greatest percentage was, and I got to fly almost into my 80's. Gotta thank Glen Davis for his seamless handling of the sale of the airplane which was not without some "tire Kickers" intervention and frustration, but Glen took care of everything with great dispatch. The final introduction of Tom Eckert from down Pomona way was the answer. Tom got the airplane he was looking for, and I received satisfaction of the sale. My old flying buddy, Gary Tuovinen accompanied Tom back to his home airport and introduced him to the intricacies of "Aircoupedom." I hope you will be seeing Tom and N6596Q at some events in the near future. If you are like me and wish to sell your Coupe, Give Glen a call, 917-297-1111, your frustrations will be minimized. I'll still be around once in a while. So Long. Wayne D. Wayne Woollard CPBE o--iii--(
