Fuel issue sparks emergency landing in N.H. field
Massachusetts pilot Ron Blackadar performed an emergency landing of his 1965
Aircoupe single-engine plane in a farm field in Lee, N.H. "We had a fuel
starvation problem," said Blackadar, 68. "We had plenty of fuel on board, but I
think the fuel pump quit." Blackadar has had his pilot's license for more than
25 years. Foster's Daily Democrat (Dover, N.H.)
