Thanks for the compliment Syd and likewise, I always thought you were too young
to retire too...how long has it been now, 1 or 2 years? :-). I just figured you
won the lottery and retired early.
Actually, in April, I celebrated my 60th birthday. Donna on the other hand is
only 56 in 6 weeks. We'd like to know all our options before I reach 62.

Well, the salt issue is definitely a consideration, but Wisconsin is way too
cold in the winter.

Retirement? What? You two are just kids!

Seriously, I'd be fearful of corrosion caused by salt in the air and in the
rain in Florida. Every time I return from Sun & Fun I find salt deposits on my
plane and rust on the steel bolt heads. That never happens here in Wisconsin.

Friends,

We playing with the idea of moving to Florida for retirement, within a 60
minute drive to the Gulf side. Of course, a nice grass airstrip in the vicinity
would be nice too. We don't know all the pros and cons of such a move, but
let's start with a hangared home for the Ercoupe first and a house budget of
$150,000.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
