I wonder if there is some silicon residue on the windshield or the windshield rubber.  A little silicon will keep almost anything from sticking.

Hey Couper's: I am having problems installing a new windshield (Bubble) because the glue does not hold the windshield rubber to the inside of the window. I have tried 3-M weather strip adhesive, and Goop automotive glue with the same results.
I put on the adhesive and let it dry for at least 24 hours. Then install the windshield. It looks great. Then about 2 or 3 days later, the inside of the rubber starts peeling off the windshield. I thought I have followed all the directions, but obviously I need something different. What do you all recommend?
