Ron/ William: I looked into trying to obtain one or both STC's to put a
C-90 in a Coupe. I did not have any luck in getting copies of the STC's,
however, I did learn that any 337 dated 1955 or older can be used as valid data,
which means if you can get a copy of a 337 showing the installation of a C-90,
you do not need FAA approval to do so. You just include a copy of the 337 dated
in 1955 or earlier with your 337. Any mechanic with AI privilege's can sign off
the installation.
Any Couper's out there with C-90's installed prior
to 1956 that have a 337? I would certainly like to get a copy.
