I hope I can answer some of this without getting in a big long debate with someone that has no interest in doing the mod. Yes you can get the case machined by Divco for $125.00. I had them do mine. There are a couple of problems with the mechanical pump and the main one is the cost of the cam gear you need to drive the pump. Continental wants around $1100.00 bucks for it and there are very few around. I believe the C-90-16 used one and very few 0-200's that were factory supplied with the pump. You can drive a pump off of the vacuum pump spot if you don't want a vacuum pump but you still need a drive that goes on the cam, a push rod and the mounting flange. I don't know which way would be the cheapest. If you have access to a illustrated parts catalog for the C-75, C-85,-C-90 & 0-200 it show the cam gears on page 2-11. The part # for the side mount pump drive gear is 630403. Page 2-26 shows the parts for the bottom drive pump. I advertised on Barnstormers for my gear and found one for $800.00. Like I mentioned the C-90-16 used one. If I can help get in touch with me off line or by phone at 707-446-1166. Dick & Nancy [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul M.
