I did mine with the wings off....I did it visually with a flashlight and mirror, then I also used a fiberscope with a guide tube to see all the way down into the very farthest reaches of both spars and the surrounding structure, where only the Black Widow spiders dare to venture. Didnt take long at all..... if anyone is close enough and wants to come to Fresno I have all of the space and equipment (fiberscope) to do it. I wont charge much at all, maybe just a nominal fee to make it worthwhile to come into work on a Saturday. I was able to find Matt Texiera's corrosion through a small rectangular panel on the bottom of the one wing that someone had cut in the past. Why they cut that hole there I cant imagine..... but it happened to be in the same place where the new AD wants it put. It had been there for a long time.
