The rudder return springs are located in front of the pedals and hook to the back of the firewall at least on the one's I have seen are built in this manner. It sounds like you are correct in that one of your springs is broken. Since my last flight, the rudder is kicked over to the left. It seems as if a rudder center/return spring for the right side has broke or come lose. The rudders operate properly when working the petals, but there is tension pulling the rudder to the left. My question is, are there rudder return springs? and where are they located? Has this happened to anyone out there? Any help would be great.
