My master switch has two large wires and two small ones attached to it. The large wires obviously cut off the voltage to the battery when the switch is off but what do the small ones do? I checked them with a multimeter and they are both constantly grounded to the airframe no matter what position the switch is in and no matter what the position the generator switch on the dash is in (if that makes a difference). Neither had any positive voltage at all or seemed affected by the switch position by making an open circuit to ground (etc). Is this normal? What do those wires do?
