If everything works until you put it into the plane, then start tracing
wires. It's obviously wired wrong.


Start at your voltage regulator- there are 3 terminals B, G, F

terminal B goes to your bus bar, via the ammeter and then through the
master switch and then ends up at the battery

B---------------ammeter-------------------busbar--------------master
switch-----------battery

terminal G goes to the armature output stud on the generator (in the
generator, you should see this stud connected to 1 of the brushes)

G------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------generator stud


terminal F goes through your generator switch (you only need 1 generator
switch- use the one on your panel) to the only other generator stud
                                                                         
                                                                         
                   the field stud

F----------------------------------------------------generator
switch--------------------generator stud



this is how it's supposed to be.
