Borrowed a Fluke and did a check on my voltage regulator.  Disconnected all the terminals off of it and then checked the voltage with my engine running.  Pretty weird results….with the field grounded I was getting like .03-.05 (RPM dependant) volts output at the ARM terminal and with it ungrounded I was getting .3-.5 V out.  Here’s the weird part…I checked the voltage on the *field* and it was *identical* to the voltage at the ARM (.3V - .5V).  Voltage at Bat was like 13V so that seemed fine.

Earlier this year I took the generator off my engine and had it checked at two different places and both said it was fine so I don’t think that’s it.  Perhaps a short somewhere?  If so where should I look?

Thanks folks.
