Anyone know the width of a coupe with the wings removed. I am trying to get my coupe into a box truck with an opening of 7ft 6in width. It looks like its going to be a tight fit.--
Thanks,

Yo, Steve -
Back in 1990 I moved my "stuff", including a rolling coupe fuselage (steel gear) from California to Texas in an 18-wheeler.
Had to reverse the right and left trailing links/wheels to do so, wiring bottom of rubber donut assembly around trailing leg (as attaching boss then on bottom instead of top). This arrangement puts wheels/tires inboard instead of outboard. It just cleared and still rolled.
If you take the main gear off completely and tilt the fuselage you might be able to get it in the box truck; but if you're working with an installed engine, etc. I think there is huge risk of damage, if not to the plane, then to the truck (if they don't become inseparable!).
Good Luck,
WRB
