Has anybody here ever used the R-A-M mounting system
to mount a GPS on ramshorn (not pretzel) style yokes
on their coupe? I'm wondering what components to buy
for my Lowrance 300 and Garmin Pilot II. Final arrangement
will probably be that pilot gets one, co-pilot gets the other.

I don't think I want the removable clamps... ideal would be
the rail-mount B-321 as a starting point, with the B-120
holder for the Lowrance and the B-138 holder for the Pilot II.

The question is whether that base will work, or if I need
the one that has a hose clamp rather than U-bolt. And also
what length arms to purchase.

Has anybody on the list completed this experiment? If so
it might save a lot of buy-a-bunch-of-bits-and-send-what-doesn't-
work-back.

Greg
