When doing my major overhaul I didn't like the look of my landing light
clear plastic covers on the wings, marked, paint around the edges and
generally scruffy. I had a template made of the correct shape in stainless
steel, bought some plastic sheet at the local hardware store and heated my
kitchen stove oven, laid the plastic over the mold template - and hey
presto - new, clear plastic covers which needed a little trimming. Cost?
minimal, satisfaction....100%. Wish I knew where I had put the template,
maybe I will find it, but having moved house recently there's lots of
items
hiding somewhere. You too could have these two wonderful landing light
covers, but you would have to buy my Alon A2A which is for sale for
$25,000,
