This is partially my fault. The coupers list email server is configured to run every message through a virus checker before it sends it on. Last week I upgraded my virus software (which is generally a good idea) but unfortunately, the upgrade had a bug in the interface by which my email program talks to it and it was not correctly telling the email software when it found a virus. So for about a week my server has been letting these things through. I have backed down to the previous version and tested it out and it is catching the virus properly again. PLEASE NOTE: EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON THE INTERNET SHOULD BE RUNNING VIRUS PROTECTION SOFTWARE. If you don't you are not only an idiot, but responsible for the propagation of these things. -Tom ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ed Burkhead" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Coupe-List" <[email protected]>; "Coupe-Tech" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, August 21, 2003 6:09 AM Subject: [COUPERS-TECH] Virus infested computer is on this list > ----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- > > > > It's likely that the computer of one of our list members is virus infected.
