Hi Percy-Sure sad to see the replica H-1B &it's owner Jim Wright pass on.
I
was privlaged to see it fly at Marysville,Ca. flyin & meet Jim Wright. He
wanted to answer all our questions & seemed real proud of his great
achivement. Did you have a chance to meet him & Hughes replica at Cottage
Grove,Or? Oh, we missed you at McMinnville,Or. this year. Buzz,Maynard & I
had our coupes there.I think there were about 9 coupes in attendence. I
think only about 5 or 6 being judged. Both Maynard & Buzz won trophys. A
third coupe from northwest also won trophy. There sure was a lot of great
planes there. Uncle Fred's coupes did good. I'll chat some more with you
of
line.Ted Sac,Ca.
