I have one of the kits you are talking about and if you want to practically take the wings off to fold them it is good. If installed it will take two people plus a cradle to fold them. I think it would be ok if you just wanted to store your plane. There is one that has been done in the States that I know of and it is in Oregon. The original guy that did it does not own it any more and I think the new owner has the STC.
