Also, consider going to a more sophisticated oil, like Exxon Elite, over the winter. They are formulated to fight corrosion and to stick better to engine parts during idle periods. I run straight weight in the summer, but then switch to Elite during the Fall and stay with it until the weather commits to being warmer and my flying schedule becomes consistent.
