Dang!  It LOOKS a lot like an Alon, doesn’t it?  If they’d only fix the landing gear, they could do proper crabbed landings!

 

I would note that they’ve got some things right.  The split elevator will reduce the effects of the slipstream power changes on pitch-trim.  The twin vertical stabilizers and rudder will get the vertical elements out of the corkscrewing slipstream and reduce the power change effects on yaw and rudder.

 

It looks pretty to me, too.
