The stuff basically consists of phosphoric acid. Here are a couple of MSDS sheets. I suspect the stuff Polyfiber sells conforms to the mil-spec, but I cannot find a bottle right not to confirm this. I'd not want to leave this liquid trapped in faying surfaces when I'm done.

While doing the Center section AD, my mechanic wants to tend to the light serface corrosion in accordance with AC 43-4A. This AC basically says to remove it by mechanical or chemical means. It matter of factly suggests that light corrosion can be removed chemically by using Corrosion removing compound MIL-C-38334, Type 1. Any one have any ideas where to aquire this material, or the FAA equvilant?
