Robert,
I put a spin-on oil filter on my Alon Aircoupe. It is mounted directly to the side of the engine. It is not remote like the Airwolf. I use champion oil filters which I order from Aircraft Spruce or from an outfit in Tulsa, but I forget the name. There is an STC for the Alon. I suspect it is a lot less hassle than the Airwolf, there are no extra hoses filling up the engine compartment, and it is easy to change out by myself. Just a bit more simple than the Airwolf, and probably just as good. I think I read a review on oil filters once and my recollection is that the Airwolf didn't really perform better than what I ended up with. I probably can fine some info on the installation if you need it.

Including all gauges, oil temp, oil pressure and so on.
Thanks for your help I do not want to spend $400.00 if it is going to be a pain to install.
