Hi Greg- I found out about Dri-wash at a local Porsche car show I went to some yrs ago with my daughter & her 63 coupe. To one & all it's good stuff. Chrome polish works great also. No, I'm not a dri-wash dealer! just a dedicated couper & A/P Ted.

Does anybody have a recommendation on the best polish/wax for fabric covered wings? Is Turtle Wax safe for them?
Hard waxes are both a pain and frightening to deal with.
My A&P is a dealer for this stuff: http://www.dri-wash.com/ which is the best
plane wash/wax I've ever used. Yes, it's not cheap but you don't use much and the
good news is you don't need water. It takes all the old crud off and leaves a nice
waxed finish that lasts a long time.
He uses it on planes he has in for annual, (including a real nice Stearman) and it
does GREAT!
I have used the Sporty's dry-wash when I feel cheap, but it leaves kind of a yellow
haze, and I have to use Dri-Wash to get things really clean again.
