I didn't know that the Subaru was a certified engine and if it is not you would have to make the coupe experimental. Does anyone know if it has been certified for A/C use? If that is all you changed you would have to make it Experimental Show which has a bunch of restrictions on it.

I heard a rumor sometime ago that someone in New Mexico was working on a STC
to put a Subaru in an Ercoupe. Can anyone substantiate that or no of anyone
who has put an alternative engine in a coupe?? Just curious..............JR
