If I remember my chemistry correctly alcohol has an "affinity" for water. If you open a can of 100 proof alcohol to the air it will 'take in' water and thus reduce its 'proof' below 100. Fuel with alcohol or ethanol is probably attracting water from the air in high humidity conditions. Craig 9772M
