On 4-7, I think that "mysterious fuel" question got our attention over yours because of the seriousness of it and that some us have experienced the "pucker factor" when one sees the header tank float start descending long before it should. Alan, a lot of information and answers to your question can be found in the Copuers tech archives...http://www.escribe.com/aviation/coupers-tech/index.html Search "center section" and you will have hours of already discussed reading to do. But in short and if this is the first inspection of your baby's center section, pull the wings. Then if everything's ok, install the inspection holes at the next inspection three years later...you might have moved up to bigger faster rig by then anyway, but I doubt it.
