The tape is from a hand held tape dispenser that you program the letters and it comes out on a strip of transparent tape. Much like scotch tape. It has been on for about 4 years and I have succeded in screwing it up enough that I must finish it. I have tried buffing and polishing compound, thinners,and goo be gone. I'm afraid to try laquer thinner. but I will try MEK and gasket remover spray next. I thought that all I needed to do was spray some adhesive remover on it and it would just whisk right off........
