Bulletins.
Have you read the latest SID97-2B which was just mailed a few days
ago?
If so what is you take on Paragraph 1 on page 18 concerning the changes to
the differential compression check?
I think they have screwed up. They state that if the leakage rate is BELOW
the standard to reject the cylinder.
It seemes to me that they have confused leakage with retained pressure. If
the leakage rate is very low, then the cylinder is pretty good in my book.
On the other hand, maybe I need to review my 6th grade grammar and re-read
the paragraph. :-)
