Don: The removal plate position will depend on whether or not your Coupe
has been modified, or came originally with the bubble windshield. When the
bubble windshield is installed one is supposed to cut a notch in the rear window
channel at the top, then install a plate over it so the side windows can be
removed easily.
The fairing for the straight windshield has a notch
cut out in it to allow removal of the sliding windows. The other information
provided was correct.
