As I recall the screws that hold the gaskets and various pieces together fit into some very unusual nutserts that were closed on the bottom.  My Aircoupe had been wounded in this area by an overzealous repair person who used to long a screw and caused that particular nutsert to leak.  I could never find a source for them.  Mine is still missing that one screw, and is filled with gunk.

Ed. It is not too difficult to install. However, there were two versions. One had only six screws holding it in and one had 10 or 12 screws. You need to be sure to put gaskets between each piece along with some fuel lube or equivalent sealer. Otherwise all one has to do is drain the fuel and gain access.
