Thanks Kevin, Yes I should mention that the OAT is the type that goes through the window center frame.

I would think that the passive one that sticks though the window would not need one but if you are hooking one up to the electric system it would. The Electronics International digital OAT is STC for Ercoupe.

I'm rather new at this. Is an STC required to install an Outside Air Temperature gauge. I checked with a local A&P-he did not know for sure. The airport's IA is gone for a while-I'm sure someone here can help! Thanks,Ron Lemons-66 ALON (N5686F)
